Mission Statement

Organic Soybean Processors of America (OSPA) is a domestic trade association which represents the organic soybean processing industry in the United States. It is a member driven organization which advocates for fair and free trade. OSPA supports economically sound decisions at all levels of government and works to advance access to safe, reliable organic feed.

OSPA was established in 2018 to provide domestic organic soybean processors with a coalition to monitor federal government relations. Specifically, members of the association are focused on supporting investments in US rural economies against unfair international trading policies.

Recently, OSPA has been working to monitor India’s foreign soybean meal subsidies and the impact on domestic mills. The U.S. Government has filed documentation with the World Trade Organization highlighting India’s unfair subsidies. We are working to ensure that U.S. trade officials include the organic industry in all trade negotiations.

If your organization would like to join the effort, please contact our Executive Director for additional information.
